On your arrival at Kathmandu which is the largest city and capital city of Nepal, Indecubo Travel’s representative will escort you to the hotel. After you freshen up, the day is set for a full day sightseeing in Kathmandu. Durbar Square is the first spot that we will visit. It is one of the three royal palace squares in Kathmandu Valley. It is also the site of Hanuman Dhoka Palace Complex which used to serve as royal Nepalese residence. This place is known where important ceremonies such as coronation are held. This ceremony (coronation of the Nepalese monarch) still takes place. We will continue our visit to the Temple of Kumari. The Living Goddess, the Kumari concedes the greetings from wooden balconies. Next is a pagoda, Kasthamandap. It is said that it is built from the timbers of a single tree by King Laxmi Narsingh Malla. Actually, Kathmandu city got its name from this pagoda.

Next spot to visit is the National Museum. It has a large collection of artifacts and weapons that date back to ancient, medieval and modern Nepal. Later pay a visit to Swayambhunath- ‘Monkey Temple’. This temple is 2,000 years old and is one of the most fabulous Buddhist temples all over the world. The temple is located on a hilltop where legendary Manjushri found a lotus flower growing in Kathmandu Valley Lake. It is beautifully painted with empathetic eyes of Buddha. There is third eye too symbolizing the wisdom. The nose seems to be an incomplete question mark but it is Nepalese number one- symbol of unity. Rest of the day is set at leisure so that you can explore Kathmandu at you own. You may talk to local people to get the insights.

Pashupatinath and Boudhanath are two important temples in Kathmandu. Pashupatinath temple is the holiest Hindu temple in Nepal. It is situated on the bank of Bagmati River. Non-Hindus are not allowed to enter the temple but they can see the temple from opposite bank. During Mahashivaratri festival, the temple witnesses thousands of pilgrims and devotees not only from Nepal but also from other countries.

Later, visit Boudhanath temple. It is the largest Buddhist temple and is of immense importance for Buddhists. Around the temple, there is large number of monasteries that sprung up numerous sects of Tibetan Buddhism. The temple houses a seated statue of Maitreya Buddha. Rest of the day is set at leisure so that you can roam around the local allies and shop souvenirs.

Post breakfast, start driving to Bhaktapur. Bhaktapur is located in Kathmandu Valley and is 20 kilometers to East of Kathmandu. It is also known as ‘City of Devotees’, Nepal’s Cultural Gem’, ‘Living Heritage’ and ‘City of Culture’. Bhaktapur is also one of the royal cities of Kathmandu Valley.

Bhaktapur is dotted with monuments, wood columns, palaces and temples with meticulous carvings, courtyards and roofs. The ‘City of Devotees’ is dotted with pagodas and shrines. It provides spectacular views of Himalayas that will take your breath away.

Dinner will be scheduled with a cultural show.

Have breakfast at the hotel and then board the flight to New Delhi. Upon your arrival at Delhi International Airport, you will be driven to Agra. Post arrival at Agra, check-in to the hotel. Rest of the day is set at leisure.

In the evening, an entertainment show ‘Mohabbat-E-Taj’ at ‘Kalakriti Cultural & Convention Centre’ is scheduled. This show narrates the story of Taj Mahal.

Sunrise at Taj Mahal gives the most magnificent view that should not be missed at any cost. Taj Mahal is an architecture feat made up of white marble that is quite serene by the bank of Yamuna River. It is an epitome of love and is listed among Seven Wonders of the World. This extravagant monument is the expression of love from Emperor Shah Jahan to his beloved wife Mumtaz. Its construction was started in 1631 AD and finished in 1653 AD. Around 20,000 workers were recruited from different countries to build this monument. However, the main architecture was Isa Khan who belonged to Iran.

Later, get back to the hotel for breakfast.

Post breakfast and few hours of relaxation, visit Agra Fort. Agra Fort was also built by Emperor Akbar in 1565 AD. It is a masterpiece of architecture. Within the fort, there are many buildings such as Moti Masjid, Diwan-I-Am, Diwan-I-Khas and Musamman Burj. Emperor Shah Jahan died in Agra Forty during imprisonment besides Khaas Mahal, Jahangir’s Palace and Sheesh Mahal.

Have breakfast and then start driving to Jaipur while visiting Fatehpur Sikir on the way. Fatehpur Sikiri is a beautiful city which was built by Akbar during 16^th century. Fatehpur Sikri also served as the capital of his empire. Later it was abandoned due to insufficient water supply.

A camel ride is arranged at Abhaneri Village.

Continue driving to Jaipur. Maharaja Jai Singh II is the name behind Jaipur. It was built in 18^th century. Jaipur is a beautiful city and is built with ancient Hindu rules. It is a colorful city and is also called the ‘Pink City’. When Prince Albert visited Japiur in 1853, it was painted pink to welcome him. Thus, the city got its name.

Post breakfast, visit Amber Fort. Amber Fort was built by Raja Man Singh in 1592. This fort exemplifies the finest Rajput architecture. The fort offers beautiful sights of deep valley and broader plains. An elephant ride at Amber Fort is a joyous experience. En-route, photography halt at Hawa Mahal- the ‘Palace of Winds’ is scheduled. It is a 5-storied building that has 953 windows. These are 25 cm thick. It was built for the royal ladies so that they can see the happenings in the city without going out and being visible to other people. Visit City Palace during afternoon. It was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh. It used to serve as the residence for royal families since then. It covers a huge area, of which half has been converted into a museum while half is still the residence of royal family.

Near the gate of City Palace, there is observatory called ‘Jantar Mantar’. It was built by King Astrologer Jai Singh II. The observatory houses many important instruments.

Post breakfast, start driving to Delhi.

After breakfast, get ready for full day sightseeing of Delhi. The history of capital city of India dates back to 3,000 years. Many cities fell and rose during those centuries; hence, it is the perfect amalgamation of modern and contemporary. You may witness government complexes and medieval palaces beside the modern metropolis.

Next in line is the city tour to Old and New Delhi. Red Fort is a monument built in red sandstone. It was built in 17^th century and is surrounded by 33 metres high boundary wall. Inside Red Fort, palaces and beautiful gardens will please your eyes and soul.

Opposite to Red Fort, there is Jama Masjid which is made up of white marble and red sandstone. It was completed in 1656 and at a huge cost of one million Rupees. Jama Masjid is the largest mosque in India where 20,000 people can offer their prayers at once.

Later visit Raj Ghat- the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. After his assassination in January, 1948, he was cremated on the banks of River Yamuna. Raj Ghat is a simple square platform made of black marble. His last words ‘Hey Ram’ are inscribed here. An eternal flame burns here for 24 hours.

Driving through the streets of Delhi, you will reach India gate. India Gate was built to commemorate 70,000 Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives during First World War. On its arch and foundations, 13,516 names of Indian and British soldiers are engraved who fought and died during Afghan War in 1919. Photography halt is scheduled at Rashtrapati Bhawan. It was once the residence of Viceroy but now it is the residence of President of India.

In the evening, a theatrical show is organized at ‘Kingdom of Dreams’. It is a unique world inspired by Bollywood and showing the culture, heritage and cuisine of India.
