Once you arrive at Delhi, You would be escorted to your respective hotels, by our representatives. Once you check-in, few hours would be left free for you to rest at your hotel room.

 

Later half of the day is planned for some exciting sightseeing of moments; Qutub Minar, Parliament house and the President’s Palace which are all very famous in Delhi are a pure delight are in the schedule.

 

Standing tall in Mehrauli area of south Delhi, Qutab Minar is a 73 meter high minaret of victory built by Qutab-ud–din-Aibakin in 1193 which depicts the supremacy of Islam. A short visit to look around the premises is planned which will be followed by our next stop at the Parliament house. Situated in the centre of New Delhi, the parliament house is also known as the Sansad Bhawan you will see this intelligently crafted building right at the end of the Sansad Marg.

 

Our next halt will be at the President Palace. Official house of the President of India is what you will see next. Also called the Rashtrapati Bhawan, this magnificent palace has 340 rooms that include guest rooms, halls and offices.  We would take you to see the beautiful Mughal Garden inside the President house (if you happen to tour in the month of February-March). The Mughal Garden is an exquisite garden of endless flowers which is kept open for general public for few days.

 

The day will end with our return to the hotel. Overnight stay will be here in Delhi.

Next morning will be your flight to Leh and you will have the customary traveling vehicles arranged for you and the luggage before time. Once you reach and check-in, the later hours will be kept free for you to relax, as your body need to adapt with the change in altitude.

 

After a full day of relaxation you can choose to visit the local bazaar in Leh. The Moti Bazaar or the Pearl Market is the popular shopping area, selling semi- precious and precious jewels.

 

Overnight stay today will be at a hotel in Leh.

In sightseeing tour for the day, your eyes will be treated with the famous monasteries in Ladakh and the early morning ceremonies at the Thiksey monastery. The Thiksey monastery is a Tibetan Buddhist located 19 kilometres from Leh at the hilltop. After this we will return to our hotel for an afternoon nap.

 

Evening is once again set free for you to go around the small snow-clad city and shop in the local bazaar as you wish.

 

Overnight stay today will be again at a hotel in Leh.

The drive to Uleytokpo is scheduled for fourth day.  It is around 5-6 hours distance from Leh. In between there will be stops to take a short tour of Alchi and Likir monastery. Situated on the banks of River Indus, Alchi is a small village in Leh. We will halt by to see the Alchi Gompa.

 

Our next drive will be to reach Likir monastery. 52 kilometres from West of Leh, this Gompa is one of the oldest structures of Ladakh.

 

The day will not allow us for any more sightseeing today. We will reach to our hotel for an overnight stay in Uleytokpo.

Next morning, an excursion to Lamayuru monastery and the village that is one of the oldest in the city is in order and you can also choose to visit the Rizong and the Chulichan Nunnery! The beautiful monasteries with scintillating peace and harmony within their walls are always a crowd puller in Leh.

 

Packed Lunch from Hotel today will be served today, followed by return to the hotel. Evening would be kept free for you to explore Uleytokpo local areas.

The village of Stok is 5-6 hours away and to accompany you in the drive, there will be some amazing scenic beauty enroute that will keep you glued. The Basgo castle, Shey Palace and even the Spituk monastery are few of the many sights that you will pass by on the drive and you can choose to take small stops to have a quick view around.

 

Spituk monastery is approx. 8 kilometres from Leh, and is better known as the Pethup Gompa. A short halt at this Buddhist Monetary would lead our tour towards Basgo castle.
42 kilometres towards West of Leh, at the Basgo castle you will see a giant clay statue of Budhha. Also known as the Basgo Rabtan Lhartsekhar, you will witness this statue at the top of hill of clay. 15 kilometres from Leh, the Shey palace situated in the Shey Village was once the residence of royal family. At the hillock in Shey you will see these amazing structures.

 

Overnight home stay will be arranged for you in Stok itself.

Next day you will drive down to Tso Moriri Lake which is 8 hours away and at an altitude of 4,520 metres; surprisingly beautiful and is also known as the highest altitude lakes in the Nomadic belt. We will also visit Karzok village and explore the region around in the evening hours and rejuvenate in its surroundings.

Overnight stay will be at Camp.

From Tsomoriri to Tsokhar it is a 4 hours’ drive which you will commence today.  This region is also famous for its salt lake, and we’ve kept this in schedule of your tour.

 

Walking around the camp and visiting the remote village of Tsokhar will be lined in the schedule which will surely be relaxing. Evening would be again kept free at your leisure.

 

Overnight stay will be at Camp.

After having breakfast in the morning the drive on the Leh-Manali highway via the Tanglangla pass to reach Ayu will commence; this beautiful village is just 6 hours away. Tanglangla pass is mountain, approx. 5,328 metres high. It is the highest motorable pass on Manali Road.

 

After this tiring journey, we leave you free to relax and explore the nearby area.

 

Overnight stay will be at Ayu.

We will drive towards Nubra Valley today.  One of the lesser known scenic places on the other side of the world famous Khardongla pass which is 5,600 metres at height is what we will explore today.

 

It is the highest motor pass all over the world. You will travel further to visit Gompa and Hunder as the drive continues through Deskit. The evening would be set for a visit to sand dunes and an optional Bactrian camel ride (on direct payment) is in queue. The overnight in the camp will be full of adventures to feed your junkie bugs!

Visit to the hot springs at the Samastaling monastery and Panamik will be conducted today and you will be enjoying in the chilling weather with the complimentary hot water spring surroundings. We would be stopping for short spans at the beautiful small villages along the valley.  You would meet various Buddhist here, who pre-dominate the region.

 

A short stop at the Baighandu village will also be in schedule. Village known for goats, whose coats are popularly being used to weave Pashmina shawls.

 

The day will be called off by a return to Camp.

The day is set free for you to explore the diversified market and shop once you drive down back to Leh. Note that this drive is only 6 hours away. Once you reach, you would be set free to recline at the hotel.

Early morning your flight from Leh to Delhi will be scheduled and once you land in Delhi, the rest of the day is all yours to relax back in your hotel rooms or you can take help from representative if you wish to do extra sightseeing on your own.

After finishing the last breakfast in the hotel your transportation will be arranged to depart for the Delhi airport and then you can continue or end your tour as you per your comfort.
