Start the day early by starting off for the magical city of Agra. Should reach there by eleven if you can start sometime around seven. After getting refreshed at the hotel, you see the city from the early afternoon.

 

The Agra Fort will be the biggest attraction for you that day. Built by arguably the mightiest Mughal ruler, Akbar the Great, this fort has stood the vagaries of time which is a testament to its sound engineering and the ingenuity of the builders. Inside the mighty walls are a collection of structures built by the rulers, succeeding Akbar, all of which are majestic intheir own right. They include the Jahangiri Mahal, Khass Mahal, Diwan-i-Khass and Diwan-i-Am.
We will stay in beautiful Taj mahal till evening and watch the amazing sunset there. This place has been included in the Seven Wonders of the World and the trip to Agra is incomplete without visiting the great Taj. Overnight stay will be at Agra.

Today, our destination will be- Jaipur. Agra to Jaipur will be approx. 4 hours’ drive by road. We will be stopping in Abheneri where the famous Chand Baori (Step well) waits. This step wall was created by the King Chandra of the Nikumbha Dynasty. This step well is regarded as the oldest monuments in the country. This place is situated near a temple that is dedicated to Harshat Mata who is regarded as the Goddess of happiness as well as joy. In the past years, the local people relied on the step wells in order to contain the rainwater for their purposes.

 

Then we will continue our way to Jaipur which is popularly known as Pink city of our country. This entire city was painted in pink colour in the year 1876 to celebrate the visit of Prince of Wales. In the afternoon, we will visit the Jewellery shop and enjoy the walking tour with guide to famous Raj Mandir Cinema. This large theatre is known all over the country for its great size as well as opulent meringue colour interior.

After having a delicious breakfast we will set for Amber Fort. Locally known as the Amer Fort, it is spread over the area of 4 square kilometres. Built by Raja Man Singh, the fort is now-a-days open for tourist showcasing and is really commendable for the work done in that era.

 

We will go on an Elephant to this fort to view the unique work of the fort and the beautiful locations in the city. From the foot-hills to the hill-top a beautifully decorated elephant ride will be organised for you. Once you reach the entrance, the fort further will be explored on foot.

 

You will be observing the Diwaan-e-Aam and Diwaan-e-Khaas; the Hall of Public Audience. It is open from 3 sides, which was initially opened for the people of Amer to meet Raja Man Singh for their grievances.

 

You will also see the “Sukh Niwas” in the fort. Known as the residence of pleasure, it is said the King used to spend time with his queens and mistresses here. The hall is made of sandal wood with a channel which carried cold water that worked as air cooler. This artificially created hall depicts another brilliantly thought of creation done in those times.

 

Our next stop will be at historic Hawa Mahal or the palace of winds. It was created for the royal ladies for them to see the daily chores of the people from the windows. These ladies were never allowed to come out in public.

 

In the afternoon we will go for visiting the Museum at the Maharaja City Palace and Observatory as well. We will also go for shopping at the Handicrafts and Carpets in the markets of Jaipur. Overnight stay today will be at a hotel in Jaipur.

 

Today, we will move to semi-desert region of Shekhawati. This region boasts about the lasting legacy of its Havelis (mansions) of rich merchants of the 18th and 19th centuries. Enjoy a broadcast through the block after.

Overnight stay will be at Alsisar.

After breakfast drive to Bikaner. Rao Bikaji – descendant of the Rathore clan of the Rajputs, who left his father’s kingdom with a small army and laid foundations of Bikaner in 1488. The Rajput king was in constant conflict with the powerful Bhatti clan but they ended with his marriage to the daughter of Bhatti chief, Rao Shekha.

 

Visit the amazing Junagarh Fort & museum, congenital amid 1587 and 1593 during the aphorism of Rai Singh. Junagarh Fort was built by Maharaja Rai Singh. The heritage of the king along with many temples and Havelis of the king are found within the fort.

Wooden buildings and exquisite sandstone dot the town and within Jaisalmer Fort are homes, hotels and shops hidden in ancient alleyways. Inthe evening visit Chattris.

After breakfast we will continue our tour by visiting Jaislamer fort and havelis. Jaisalmer Fort is the yellow coloured sandstone structure, which stands 250 feet high amidst the hills of Trikuta. The beautiful palaces of the Maharawals are jewelled with exquisite designs and wooden carvings.

 

Nathmalji-ki-Haveli – The two brothers, Hathi and Lulu with their unique architectural creativity have made this beautiful structure. The place served as the residence of Diwan Mohata Nathmal. Patwon-ki-Haveli – The work of mirrors on the walls and ceilings and exclusive paintings of the traditional times make it a great crowd puller. Salim Singh-ki-Haveli has an arched style roof and has peacock carvings on the walls.

 

Evening camel safari on the Sam Sands Dune, located at the edge of the Thar Desert, is a great sunset view point

 

Overnight stay will be at Jaisalmer.

An absorbing drive through more assorted backdrop takes us to Jodhpur, a boondocks at the bend of the boss Thar Desert. The place was named as Ranakpur when a large stretch of land was given to the Jains by the Rana Kumbha of Mewar in the 15th century. This place became popular for the existence of Jain temples. Ranakpur is one of the five holiest and awesome places of the Jain community with exceptional beauty. Let’s enjoy a little exploration here and it’s time to relax in the hotel. Overnight stay will be at Ranakpur.

After breakfast you will see the marvellous “Chaumukha” or the four faced temple, having twenty-nine halls and thousands of pillars, all magnificently carved, and enhancing the charm of the temple. We will offer prayers here and move ahead to unfold another exotic destination.

 

Later proceed for Udaipur, upon arrival check in at the hotel and relax. In the evening, enjoy a boat ride on the Lake Pichola, which will leave you completely mesmerized.

A favourite among travellers, Udaipur is full of palaces and temples. Udaipur, also known as the City of the Lakes is a visual treat to all those who come here. Carved in the Aravalli hills, this romantic city is also called – “the city of sunrise”. The morning time is set to visit the City Palace, Jagdish temple and Sahelion ki Bari Gardens.

 

Situated on the banks of Lake Pichola, the City Palace was built by Maharana Udai Singh and later completed by his successors. It is the largest palace complex of Rajasthan. It is a blend of European, Medieval and Chinese architecture.

 

Later visit the Jagdish Temple, built to dedicate Lord Laxmi Narayan. You will witness this three storeyed temple, beautifully carved with lush walls and painted walls.

 

Next in schedule is the Sahelion ki Bari, also called the Garden of the maids. You will see the alluring central courtyard with central tank. The out-lawns of the courtyard has fountains, flower beds and pools. It is said that this garden was built for the 48 maids, received as dowry by Maharana Sangram Singh.

 

Overnight stay will be at Udaipur.

Transfer to the airport to board a morning flight to Delhi. Option to biking alee to Mumbai is available. The afternoon is free to relax in the hotel or to go further and explore Delhi. Overnight stay will be at Delhi.
