Kochi is a city at the West cost of India. It is densely populated. It is perfect for complete exposure of variety of the cultural heritage of Kerala state. A walking tour in main land of Kochi includes “fort Kochi”. Further, we will take you to beautiful Parsi Synagogue built in 1568, the Dutch Palace built by Portuguese in 1555 and St Francis’ Church.

During evening, you will be set to witness Kathakali dance performance. Overnight stay will be at the same hotel. Check if a ferry ride can be planned in between. Ferry rides are cheap mode of transport in Kochi. And not to forget, it’s all about fishes in Kochi. Watch them being sold or enjoy them in your plate. Both will give you pleasure.

The next morning we will drive to East with new excitement to visit Munnar. It is a place where you can see the beauty of hills in the area. The best part you can experience is the art of Tea plantation on slope of hill. The height of this place offers you a tremendous view of the surrounding hills.

This drive will keep you intact with the location throughout your life. Munnar has a lot more to flaunt, however we wish we will take you to all possible places. The overnight will be at a hotel arranged at Munnar.

The next morning will be more excited by a visit to the most popular wildlife sanctuary in Periyar driving further towards South short from main land of Munnar itself. Animal lovers may explore their desire to watch for different variety of animals available in wild life sanctuary. You may enjoy shopping of variety of spices and some handicrafts. There are a lot other things to enjoy here we will leave the things up to you. You may enjoy boating at the lake Periyar to get sight of herd of elephants. The stay will be pleasant and satisfying to bring peace to your mind. Overnight stay will be arranged at this place itself.

After a stomach full breakfast, we will take you for a splashy plantation tour. We will drive through the plantation lanes of rubber and coffee. Apart from Flora and Fauna, Periyar is known for its spice plantation and wildlife.

We will stop at one of the plantation, where you will get to talk with the people involved in the process of plantation to sending spices to the market. You will also get to see and taste the cultivation. Evening will be scheduled free for relaxing and enjoying the services of the hotel.

A drive to Kumarakom in Periyar to South-East of the city is planned for today. There are groups of island in the Vembanad Lake that are close to each other.  This morning will excite you for its Kerala backwater farms. It is so exotic place to refresh your inner happiness and explore the lovely life.

Kumarakom has changed a bit since the Middle Age, however making no change to attract the tourist and making it the perfect point to explore the backwaters. You could also make a visit to this wonderful bird sanctuary which is a winter home to many migratory birds.

The day is set for you to relax at the hotel. You could visit the local areas to explore this sleepy village. We will let you enjoy your day exploring in and around on your own, leaving up to you to decide how you want to spend the day.

The next morning we will move towards South direction to “Alleppey” heading on the house boat also called rice boat (greeted by our representative to escort you to the house boat). The place is also called lake paradise. Journey will be on the private rice boat furnished and crewed with pooler to push the rice boat through the water. This will give you the perfect view of all the colorful villages and farms around it. There will be an on-board cook to serve you the delicacies of Malayalam recipe.  During this exotic boat ride you will see people doing farming and daily chores.

Ask the chief if Kappa and Meen curry (an interesting South Indian dish –“tapioca and spicy fish curry), spicy kozhi and appams (chicken curry and appams), karimeenpolichada (pearl spot fish steamed and wrapped in banana leaf) and delicious payasams (desserts)” are in the menu. You can catch your own fish and ask your chef to cook it for you. Overnight stay will be on the house boat.

This morning we will have a short journey back to Kochi at the hotel. You will de-board from the houseboat and drive to Kochi. Exploring more days in the magnificent tour is all on you and our delight to serve you as per request or you will be transported back to airport for your flight.
