We will commence our beautiful tour to South India today. This day you will reach at Chennai airport and from there we will pick you up. You are welcomed and then you are taken to the beautiful and stunning town of Mahabalipuram. This town is located in the seaside which adds on to its natural beauty. This town is just at the side of Bay of Bengal and thus you can surly enjoy a long walk at the white sand beaches. You can also sit and enjoy the cool breeze of the beautiful beaches there. Not only in terms of beauty but it also serves as one of the best archaeological sites. Our overnight stay will be at Mahabalipuram itself.

This day you will proceed from Mahabalipuram towards Coonoor by train. After breakfast you will see various spots of attractions at Mahabalipuram. When you have a tour around the town then you will see some traditional stone carvings which have been the town’s pride since 8th century. The Shore Temple is made of stone and is beautifully craved which really proves to be a treat to the eyes. Other than that you will also see various shrines and the most important ones are that of the shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu. You can also see the evidence of ancient architect in large stone pillar which was originally created to catch the rising sun and to act as a beacon to sailors at sea.

After this wonderful tour you will ride back to Chennai to catch the Nilgiri Express to reach Mettupalayam. Overnight will be spent in the train.

We will arrive at Mettupalayam and the next part of this tour is to board the narrow gauge train which will take to Coonoor. The special part of this day is the travel in mountain railways. This railway has been operational since 1899 and since then tourists are enjoying its beautiful ride. With this rail ride you will cross various tunnels and bridges and will enjoy the beauty of the nature at same times. This train takes you up by 2,193 meters in the mountain. This four hour journey will simply make you spellbound and you will definitely be wooed by its breathtaking beauty. Once we arrive at Coonoor then you are escorted to the hotel to take rest and the whole afternoon is yours to explore Coonoor. This day you will make an overnight stay at Coonoor.

After having breakfast at Coonoor you will start your journey towards Mudumalai. You reach this place by road. There is a National park in this place where you will stay for two nights. Each day you are taken on safari to explore the beautiful creatures of the nature, also, to enjoy a heavenly environment which is away from the hustle bustle of the city. In this National park you will come across various exotic species of Indian wildlife like the Indian Bison, the bonnet Macaques, the jackal, the tigers, the Nilgiri Langur, the peacock and many more. Other than that you will also witness the dense and thick forest range. Also, this national park is the one where one of the largest populations for the elephants resides. Along with the feel of nature you will stay in the lodge with the modern amenities.

On Day 7^th you will continue your tour around the city to explore it more, which comes with an excursion of Mysore and drive to Srirangapatna along with the Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary. Overnight stay will be arrangedat Mysore for both nights.

You will also come across various wildlife species in this National Park through Jeep safari. For two nights we will stay at National Park.

On day 8^th we will take a step forward to explore another part of South India. You are taken to a drive at Nagarhole National Park which was founded by Maharaja of Mysore in 1955. The beauty of this park lies in the fact that it has Serpentine Channels flowing all over. Other than that it has dense forest ranges and it covers the hill range of Kerala. You will also come across various wildlife species in this National Park through Jeep safari. For two nights we will stay at National Park.

On day 11^th you will start your journey from Sultan’s Battery and will proceed towards Athirappally via Guruvayur. En route you will stop at few beautiful tourists’ spots which enhance the beauty of your journey to many folds. Also you come across the Krishna Temple which is one of the wealthiest temples in entire India and the holiest in the whole of Kerala. You will stay at Athirappally for two nights.

On day 11^th you will start your journey from Sultan’s Battery and will proceed towards Athirappally via Guruvayur. En route you will stop at few beautiful tourists’ spots which enhance the beauty of your journey to many folds. Also you come across the Krishna Temple which is one of the wealthiest temples in entire India and the holiest in the whole of Kerala. You will stay at Athirappally for two nights.

After spending two fun filled nights at Athirappally now it is time to head back to Kochi. Here you will check in at your hotel and at evening you will take a tour around Kochi to see its tourist attractions. The places include Dutch Palace, Synagogue, and St Francis’ Church etc. Also you can enjoy the Kathakali performance by the talented dancers of Kochi. You will make an overnight stay at Kochi.

After spending two fun filled nights at Athirappally now it is time to head back to Kochi. Here you will check in at your hotel and at evening you will take a tour around Kochi to see its tourist attractions. This is the last day of your tour and now it is time to return home. So after having breakfast you are given a ride to airport to catch the flight to your space of choice and to wait for your next enjoyable journey to begin.
